Bean Drop Task

Proficiency-based task designed to teach the technical skills required in basic laparoscopic surgery. The Bean Drop Task requires the user to grasp and move each bean 15 cm from the Saucer to the Final Elevated Location Cup. Use with any of Simulab's Laparoscopic Trainers, or secure to table for classroom, clinic, home or office use.

This task includes a Right and a Left-Handed Template along with proficiency metrics for self-assessment or skills lab.

There are four additional proficiency tasks for basic laparoscopic skill development:


         Block Move Task (BMT-10)

         Checkerboard Task (CBT-10)

         Running String Task (RST-10)

         Suture Foam Task (SFT-10)
