Adult Skin

SynTissue adult skin is realistically textured on the surface and smooth on the subcutaneous side. This tissue employs multiple discrete layers with a natural wear layer at the surface.

Anatomy Model

Our SynDaver Anatomy Model includes major skeletal, muscular and some of the cartilaginous structures present in typical human anatomy. It is a full sized, head-to-toe anatomical model.

Aortic Valve

Our SynAtomy aortic valve is designed for use in heart valve replacement training exercises. The valve design is based on actual CT images to assure anatomical accuracy. Product is supplied as a single unit that may be reused many times.

Arterial Tissue

SynTissue arterial tissue employs our standard arterial intima, media and adventitia construction in a flat format.

Bulk Fat

SynTissue bulk fat is very soft and lubricious. This fat is also much more friable than the subcutaneous grade due to a lower fiber content.

Cardiac Tissue

SynTissue cardiac tissue is a beta-stage material from our SynDaver Synthetic Human product line. This material is in general stiffer, more dense and tougher than skeletal muscle. The inner surface is smooth and lubricious while the outer surface is rougher and slightly striated.

Cardiovascular Pump System

Our SynAtomy Cardiovascular Pump System is designed to enable experimentation and training with our SynDaver synthetic humans by providing an active circulation of simulated blood throughout its vasculature. The pump features an adjustable pressure system and pulsatile flow.

Carotid Artery

Our SynAtomy carotid artery segments are designed for use in anastomosis training. Product is supplied as a single segment which may be reused many times.

Complex Breast Phantom

Our SynAtomy Breast Phantom is a highly lifelike medical training platform ideal for students and professionals who seek to improve hand-eye coordination and learn new techniques. This simulator accurately emulates the ultrasonic characteristics of tissues found in a typical human breast and allows students to practice procedures such as palpation, mammography and seed implantation.

Esophagus

Our SynDaver Esophagus models are the most realistic synthetic organs of their type available anywhere in the world. The structural design is based on an amalgam of CT and MRI images from actual patients and the synthetic tissues employed in construction have been validated against the mechanical, physicochemical, thermal and dielectric properties of living tissue.

Esophagus Tissue

SynTissue esophagus tissue is from our SynDaver Synthetic Human product line. This dense muscular tissue is smooth, lubricious, pliable and has differing modulii along the x and y axes. Standard product is a 20cm x 20cm plate with a nominal thickness of 2mm.

Fascia Latae

SynTissue fascia latae is thin and lubricious, but very strong and durable. This tissue is completely opaque due to the presence of multiple intersecting fiber planes.

Femoral Artery

Our SynAtomy femoral artery segments are designed for use in anastomosis training. Product is supplied as a single segment which may be reused many times.

Fibrous Fascia

SynTissue fibrous fascia is is smooth and flexible but stronger and more dense than mucosal fascia. This fascia is translucent due to the presence of multiple fiber planes.

Large Intestine

Our SynDaver large intestine models are the most realistic synthetic organs of their type available anywhere in the world. The structural design is based on an amalgam of CT and MRI images from actual patients and the synthetic tissues employed in construction have been validated against the mechanical, physicochemical, thermal and dielectric properties of living tissue.

Liver

Our SynDaver liver models are used in the SynDaver Synthetic Human product line and are also available as standalone models. The liver is made from SynTissue®, which has been validated to have comparable tensile modulus, abrasion resistance, penetration force, coefficient of friction and thermal conductivity responses when tested under the same physical conditions as the live tissue being simulated.

Mitral Valve

Our SynAtomy mitral valve is designed for use in heart valve replacement training exercises. The valve design is based on actual CT images to assure anatomical accuracy. Product is supplied as a single unit that may be reused many times.

Mucosal Fascia

SynTissue mucosal fascia is the softest and most friable type of fascia in our inventory. The material is nearly transparent, has a fatty texture and all surfaces are smooth and highly lubricious.

Nerve Bundle

Our SynAtomy nerve bundle is designed for use in anastomosis training. Product is supplied as a single segment which may be reused many times.

Platform Pump

Our SynAtomy Platform Pump is designed to allow experimentation and training with our synthetic veins, arteries and vessel pads by transporting water or other fluid throughout the blood vessels. The platform includes a DC powered pump that provides a low-rate steady state flow through one vascular component at a time.

Prostate

The prostate is one of many organs available separately from our SynDaver Synthetic Human product line. If you require a custom version of this organ or one which is not listed please call us. We can build any organ (or system of organs) from CT and MRI images, CAD designs, or simple drawings.

Silicone Anatomy Model

Our SynDaver Silicone Anatomy Model includes major skeletal, muscular and some of the cartilaginous structures present in typical human anatomy. It is a full sized, head-to-toe anatomical model.

Silicone Arm

Our SynDaver Silicone Anatomy Arm includes all of the major skeletal, muscular, and cartilaginous structures between the scapula and the fingertips. This model is made from silicone and polymer composites, so unlike our standard wet-tissue products this model can be stored on a shelf!

Silicone Leg

Our SynDaver Anatomy Leg model includes all of the major skeletal, muscular and cartilaginous structures between the crown of the hemi-pelvis and the toes.

Simple Aorta

Our SynAtomy simple aorta segments are designed for use in anastomosis and heart valve implantation training. Product is supplied as a single segment which may be reused many times.

Stomach Tissue

SynTissue stomach tissue employs a multi-layer muscular construction that is rough on the exterior surface and smooth and lubricious on the internal surface.

The SynDaver Surgical Model is the most elaborate and sophisticated full-body surgical simulator ever devised, featuring complete and functional musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and gastrointestinal systems. Similar to an exquisite 3D jigsaw puzzle, most muscles, bones, vascular components and organs are removable and replaceable. Made from water, salts and fibers, the individual organ tissues have been designed over the last two decades to mimic to the essential mechanical and physical properties of live tissue. Quite simply, the SynDaver Surgical Model is the apex of hands-on surgical simulation.
